American Race Cars Congratulat
Jeff Brown drove his 2007 American Race Cars Patriot Swing Arm dragster to one of the most dominating seasons in recent IHRA Top Dragster history, culminating in the 2007 IHRA World Championship and the Division 3 North Stars Top Dragster title. Mark Horton, Travis Colangelo, and the staff at American Race Cars would like to publicly congratulate Brown on his amazing season, and personally thank him for choosing American Race Cars.
Brown, a former national event winner and perennial top ten contender, was not certain he’d even be racing when 2007 began, much less finish the season as the world champion. A shop fire destroyed nearly his entire racing operation last winter, including his 2006 American Race Cars dragster. Brown recovered, piecing together parts to field a successful operation, and purchasing a new 2007 American machine. Once the season began, the misfortune of Brown’s off-season quickly turned to an inferno on the race track.
Brown terrorized the IHRA Summit Pro-Am series, posting Top Dragster event wins at U.S. 131, Milan Dragway, Kanawha Valley Dragway, and Osceola Dragway. He added a runner-up at Osceola to complete a near perfect divisional season. Brown added late round finishes at several national events, including a runner-up at the Amalie Oil North American Nationals in Epping, NH to cement his title. Although Brown was challenged for much of the season, the final tally is lopsided, with his monumental 729 point total earning the championship by over 100 points.
American Race Cars would once again like to congratulate Brown and his family for this tremendous accomplishment, while thanking each American Race Cars owner for their business. For more information on American Race Cars, visit www.AmericanRaceCars.net.
